A teenager from Canada received a big prize of one million dollars on her 18th birthday after buying her first lottery ticket. On March 14, Charlie Lagarde purchased the lottery ticket that won, together with a sparkling wine bottle in a Montreal suburb at a convenience store, indicated Loto Quebec.
After scratching the Gagnant a vie ticket off, she discovered that she was beginning adulthood as a wealthy person. Loto Quebec said that Lagarde agreed to receive her winnings in a lifetime allowance.
It means each week she would get $1,000 Canadian dollars throughout her life. One million Canadian dollars is equivalent to about $775,000 US dollars. Lagarde informed the lottery that she intends to utilize the cash to travel.
She revealed to Loto Quebec that her wish was to learn photography. ‘Working for National Geographic is one of my dreams,’ she informed Loto Quebec.
